The Sanlam Life and Savings Office provides strategic direction, coordination and support to the three clusters, as well as performing governance oversight that includes assurance provided by second line of defense functions in SLS, to enable us to meet our business objectives. Role Summary
Responsible for providing daily, weekly and monthly BI reporting on the SBI platforms and supporting users in deriving business value from the reports.

Duties include compiling and presenting divisional and functional reports, data trend and analysis. Engage with various stakeholders to ensure availability and reliability of the reports. Support clients with regard to ad-hoc reports and queries. Responsibilities include the initiation, co-ordination and management of changes to the BI reports, as needed, and the streamlining of BI reports and processes across the business.

The position is multi-disciplined and taking ownership of assigned tasks and delivering on commitment is key to success in this position.

You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of tasks and projects within the business and to provide used cases to the SBI HUB teams as required. The environment is fast paced and strict SLAs are adhered to. What will you do?

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Engage with and facilitate requirement gathering workshops with the Business owner/Product Houses, SanlamConnect and the HUB teams within SBI.

Provide training and support to the various stakeholders
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to analyze information needs, functional requirements and business processes

Provide used cases to the SBI HUB teams
Project manage/implement new consumption tools and version updates
Drive and influence Business Units on their usage and understanding of the BI to successfully execute on their plans

Ability to work across multiple projects and businesses
Inform, influence and guide business through your ability to analyse and visualise data
Co-ordinate user communication and other aspects of monthly enhancements and implementations What will make you successful in this role?

Requirements:Qualifications:
Matric with Mathematics
Degree (information Systems/Statistics/Science) would be advantageous

Experience and skills:
At least 5 years’ relevant experience within the financial industry
Working according to the AGILE way of work
Analytical
Should be able to adapt quickly

Data driven approach with the ability to engage on technical level whilst having a strong business sense
Visualisation, Dashboarding and Presentation skills
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent attention to detail

Ability to familiarise yourself quickly with technical concepts of project
Good verbal and written communication skills to manage relationships with business stakeholders
Ability to work independently, take initiative and meet tight deadlines/SLAs
Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel, add-ins)
