ABOUT THE ROLE

Working closely with the wider commercial team, we are looking for a Commercial Support Analyst who will be responsible for administrative, project and financial support. You will also be involved in collaborating with team members and other internal areas of Nielsen.We are a small, but passionate team who enjoy collaborating in a dynamic environment. We work with the most exciting brands and companies the media industry has to offer!

ROLE DETAILS

1. Administrative support

Support the smooth running of the Commercial Team administrative functions including but not limited to Ariba, TAP and Salesforce.

Track and manage invoices, support with day to day financial administration liaising with the Finance Department and clients as required.

Plan and coordinate events and meetings, including preparation of powerpoint presentations.

2. Commercial Support

Collate analytical and statistical information to assist in the preparation of business development activities.
Take ownership of client communications.
Support the Commercial Team with the drafting of tender documentation and support with the accurate production of a variety of reports to facilitate the Commercial tender process.
Act as project administrator for Commercial tenders, including gate applications, attending and minuting meetings, clarification interviews and maintaining necessary project logs.

3. General

Be the custodian of employee engagement, and drive initiatives that are at the heart of the core values of the organisation.
Understand and be familiar with local objective and KPIs and act in line with set targets.
Able to balance priorities and perform effectively under pressure to deliver against sometimes challenging deadlines whilst being consistent and delivering to a high standard.
Proactively communicate with colleagues to coordinate the timely completion of tasks and project deadlines.
Work on other duties may be reasonably required from time to time.

QUALIFICATION & SKILLS

Must have prior experience dealing with JIC (joint industry committee) clients
Have some contract experience and be able to handle tough negotiations with JIC clients
Providing project and administrative support – within a team, with experience of monitoring and reporting on progress of project.
Experience within a commercial function and / or department
Experience of interpreting data and presenting data in an appropriate format for a variety of audiences
Exceptional planning and organising skills, combined with project office experience – able to plan and prioritise own time effectively, and anticipate and adjust for problems, risks or changing requirements to keep delivery on track, remaining positive through challenge.
Has worked in and contributed to collaborative team environments and is comfortable in supporting team members to deliver business objectives and goals.
Good interpersonal skills – is articulate, demonstrates good verbal, presentation and written communication skills, and high attention to detail. A suitably confident team player who can co-ordinate across multiple teams.
Strong IT skills – proficient user of Google suite.
Experience of accurately maintaining physical and electronic filing systems including analysis of data for reporting.
