Position is based in Cosmo Business Park

Job Brief:

Bank Statement

Downloading, Printing and Capturing
Split Debit Orders Accordingly
Reconciliations

Creditors incl. COD Accounts

Allocations – Payments, Discounts and Rounding’s (Weekly & Monthly)
Monthly Reconciliations
Prepare monthly payment sheets for approval
Complete credit applications and open accounts on System
Load beneficiaries on the Banking system
Handling and resolving queries

Petty Cash

Daily / Weekly payments once approved by Director
Monthly Capturing and Balancing

E-mail Communication

Printing of invoices and requesting of information from suppliers as well as internally.

International Payments

Ensure all documents pertaining to payment is received and approved before loading.

Insurance

Ensure the Policy schedule is up to date in adding new insured items, complete claim forms and submit. Follow company procedure where necessary.

General

Filing, Archiving
Split Journals Month end creditors journals
Intercompany journals & Payments

Job Requirements

Good Understanding of GL Codes
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
Excellent Communication Skills
Must be able to work under pressure
General knowledge of Basic Accounting
Be able to take initiative
Prioritising
Planning & organising
Attention to Detail
Creditors Function for 5 entities

Education & Experience:

Matric / Grade 12 with accounting as a subject advantageous
Minimum 3 years Creditors Clerk Experience, Full Function
IQ experience advantageous
