Roche Order Management Specialist Vacancies Description?

The Position

Responsibilities

Liaises in the delegation of day-to-day scheduling and execution of planning, kitting and logistics procedures.
Coordinating final orders are packed and dispatched in accordance with OTIF and shipping requirements.
Ensuring that packing protocol is followed in accordance with temperature controlled requirements and that final packaging is clearly labelled in accordance with SOP’s, internal and external requirements
Liaising with Couriers on collection and delivery dates and times, Communicating with receiving destinations/clients.
Ensuring that all SAP logistical related routine transactions and activities are planned and executed to ensure visibility and accuracy in the system for all groups within the end to end supply chain processes. (Confirmations, updates, changes)
Understands GMP, QSR, ISO and RMS Quality regulations and ensures that all production operations are performed in a manner that meets these requirements including applicable SOPs and ISO: 13485. Assists and drives document control and updates of SOP’s, QF’s, WI’s, CR’s, NCR’s and CAPA’s.
Communicating with inventory controllers and manufacturing divisions to ensure that inventory is delivered to logistics on time based on orders confirmed for dispatch. Assists in responsibility for the accuracy, quality and timeliness of orders being packed for shipping.
Assists in ensuring all area personnel are trained in job specific SOPs and that all operations are performed in a manner compliant with Master Records and associated SOPs.
Assists in investigations, investigation reports, and advances through the quality system. Assists in compiling weekly and monthly shipping reports and statistics.
Responsible for customer claims and drives the investigation and closure within acceptable time frames as per SOP guidelines
Point of contact for Logistics order management and back up in the absence of a manager by collaborating with all stakeholders
Assists stock takes/cycle counts and communicates frequently with peers to manage ordering of raw materials and day to day operational requirements

Formal Training/Education

Diploma in Logistics/Warehouse/Inventory Control or related field preferable
Matric Certificate required

Experience

5 years Relevant experience in Logistics and Manufacturing environment required
2 Years Order Management Experience preferable

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge and experience as well as full understanding of ERP system setup (SAP), and maintenance is preferred at a minimum of 2 years.
Demonstrate knowledge of distribution processes and import/export activities.
Demonstrate knowledge of inventory management and physical counting coordination.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google cSuite.
Working knowledge of Quality Compliance Systems (NCR’s, CR’s, CAPA systems) would be beneficial.
Sound knowledge of cross functional areas of business to include manufacturing, Logistics and Supply Chain.
Sound knowledge of MRP/SAP system logic would be beneficial.
Ability to operate in a complex matrix environment.
