What you will do at ODILO:

  • Identify key accounts and help create the strategic sales plan in the assigned market.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of forecasted opportunities to meet monthly, quarterly and annual quota objectives
  • Direct sales, working closely with other team members, opening new businesses and doing upselling of existing accounts
  • Analyze regional market dynamics to maximize current success and create sales growth opportunities.
  • Work with Product and Marketing groups to provide customer feedback and drive revenue opportunities in the market segment
  • Assist in the transition process for new clients to ensure a successful onboarding experience
  • Drive client satisfaction by partnering with our Customer Onboarding, Success and Learning Coach teams
  • Bring your thinking, strategies, and ideas to advance our company’s values, unique culture, and vision for the future
  • Running local events and presenting to industry leaders

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • 2-3 years of proven experience building and managing B2B sales channels offering technology solutions to companies as a Key Account Manager to strategic accounts.
  • Experience in the corporate learning environment.
  • Good network within the local enterprises, scale-up and investor community, or you have the desire to quickly build one.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit; excited for the challenge of being one of the first on the ground representing our company in your region and building our brand in the African market.
  • Excellent consultative selling, communication and presentation skills.
  • Prior experience in achieving and surpassing new sales quotas.
  • Brings a hunter mentality to the team. Well-organized and prepared.
  • Able to work towards clear deadlines.
  • Challenger sales mindset is a must
  • Diligent in keeping sales pipeline information accurate and up to date in company CRM.
  • Passionate about lifelong learning; you believe that establishing a lifelong learning culture in a company will be a critical factor for any company’s success.
  • Fluency in English and African languages is essential
  • Is able to work remotely and travel frequently, if needed.

It will be a Big Plus:

  • If you speak additional languages.
  • More than 5 years of proven experience as a Key Account Manager
  • Experience managing the goals of a high-performing sales team
