Job Details

ROLE DESCRIPTION

As an Account Manager in the Innovation and Commerce team you would be required to provide specialist domain related insight to both internal and external stakeholders. This role is client-facing and provides an exciting opportunity to help our clients identify and prioritise innovation opportunities to drive business growth, and to help clients develop commercial shopper strategies to influence shoppers along the path to purchase and at the point of conversion.

You will suit this role if you have a passion for learning and developing knowledge and skills across a range of innovation and commerce solutions, both strategic and tactical. Having existing experience in innovation or commerce is beneficial but not a prerequisite for success in applying for the role. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about both domains, passionate about developing their skills and quantitative research experience, has strong attention to detail and can work independently, managing their own time, and taking ownership of managing internal and external stakeholders. You will suit this role if you have strong communication skills, presentation skills and team management skills.

Key Outcomes

Successfully manage all projects responsible for: Oversee the execution of research projects from study design to final reporting and analysis and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Apply advanced level of innovation and commerce knowledge in delivering consultative and strategic insights to clients and their business in all interactions.
Maintain a high level of client satisfaction: Ensure client needs are met and their questions are answered in a timely fashion. Help to prioritize tasks across the team to deliver against project timelines and client needs.
Grow client relationships: Contribute to revenue growth for assigned clients by listening to business opportunities and proactively recommend potential research solutions. Actively write proposals.
Drive positive team culture, support other team members when under pressure, and act as a leader to junior staff, including guiding them through their career.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience with direct involvement in analysis of research or interpretation of data sources, additional skills & experience in innovation and commerce domains will be advantageous, but not a prerequisite.
Advanced analytical abilities to answer client questions with data.
Advanced problem-solving abilities.
Strong attention to detail, ability to manage own time, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, takes ownership and accountability for tasks and responsibilities, and keeps seniors informed regularly.
People & team management experience
