To provide the Fintech Department with administrative support to enable the Department to perform its duties effectively.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Ensuring that office support and management services are provided to the Head and staff of FinTech.
  • Liaise with secretaries and senior staff of financial institutions, industry representative bodies, government, community organisations, service providers, project partners and staff of the FSCA.
  • Maintenance of the FinTech intranet page.
  • Ensuring an accessible central filing system is maintained in accordance with the filing key of the Fintech.
  • Keeps records of all Fintech companies and updates the spreadsheet with the current status.
  • Ensures that meetings are scheduled in stakeholders’ calendars and venue booked.
  • Responds to requests in professional manner and ensures information requested by the public is dispatched.
  • Attend to all queries related to projects.
  • Ensures that the media releases are published by the Communications’ Team.
  • Prepare information packages for clients/consumers.
  • Prepare documents for meetings.
  • Respond to requests for information about the FinTech department.
  • Respond to all business queries.
  • Responsible for the logging of calls for services needed from Supply Chain Unit (SCU) and ICT.
  • Work closely with new FinTech startup companies to understand and prioritize business goals and information needs.
  • Liaise with various external stakeholders to ensure that a relevant solution is identified to conform to the business needs of the FSCA.
  • Responds and attend to escalations and queries raised.

Other Key Competencies:

The candidate must demonstrate the following skills and attributes: Good interpersonal skills, office administration and communications (both verbal and written) skills; ability to organise and liaise well with people at all levels; excellent computer and IT skills; ability to function under pressure and monitor projects as assigned. An ability to maintain confidentiality is key.

National diploma in Administration or Information Management. Computer literacy. A minimum of 1 years’ experience office management or project management.
