1- Forecasting and Planning

• Prepare 12 month rolling forecast in coordination with the pharmacy chains, wholesalers and hospitals.

• Participate in regular Demand Review meetings with demand planning manager and medical team to ensure placing accurate orders

• Lead demand review meetings with pharmacy chain buyers and Nutricia demand planner.

2- E-commerce

• Explore potentiality of e-commerce.

• Set targets and activity plans by customer.

3- Business Development Plans

• Develop, agree and implement business development plans for customers.

• Implement the annual channel specific programs’ calendar in coordination with relevant departments internally and externally.

• Align and cooperate with medical salesforce, marketing and supply chain to influence internal plans, and to grow profitably the business.

4- Manage Chain Pharmacies and Wholesalers

• Map important stakeholders to build and strengthen relationships between Nutricia and the pharmacy chains.

• Map existing wholesalers in the market and assess potentiality and business growth opportunities.

• Weekly follow up with buyers .

• Ensure availability to avoid out of stock.

• Ensure product visibility; coordinate with consumer marketing manager to propose and implement trade activities.

• Set the sales targets per account/per region; follow up on sell-in/sell-out achievement through cross functional coordination and by following the agreed strategy and plans set by channel and account.

• Follow up on point of sales’ performance by region.

• Act as a liaison between demand planning manager and buyers to ensure stock is delivered on time & available as planned.

5- Export

• Follow-up on existing Local Export and seek new local export opportunities (including tenders) and expand direct export according to Nutricia South Africa territory.

6- Market Intelligence and Competitor Information

• Monitor competitor activities and strategies (pricing/positioning etc.), share feedback with medical field team and take into consideration while deciding on Nutricia sales strategy.

• Develop monthly competitor report based on market information and input from medical field team.

• Participate in business reviews and provide feedback to medical field team, demand planning manager about sales per region/category.

Education & professional experience:

• Bachelor in Business Administrative or equivalent.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a commercial role in a multinational FMCG or pharmaceutical company

• 2 to 3 years’ experience in a managerial position

• Highly proficient in M.S Skills (Excel – PowerPoint)
